Jane Austen Inspiration

Barton Cottage is a huge inspiration for me!! I have loved this house and it's style for some time. Being that I'm not sure when I can actually make the cottage I'm planning on making the interior of the Stone House into this style. I know my periods will mix a bit but it's a dollhouse after all so lets have a bit of fun!!

This is one of the first scene in the movie. I want to try and recreate the wainscoting and patina on the walls. Though I'm having trouble with what patina is on the walls. I can not tell if they are just old or if they have used a blue tint on them? If anyone know what they would have traditionally used it would be a great help to me.
I love all the window seat, but as my windows are all french doors I will have to forget about this. Such a shame, though I can do it on the top floor.
I love the clothing in the front hall and the hats.
I have ordered on of Susan Sirkis books and will try and re-dress some dolls to look like the period. This should be interesting as I have never done this before.
I think I'm going to have to make allot of things for this house, the candle sconces I will probably have to make. But I'm thinking after seeing so many blogs where they make cardboard look like metal that I can use this to make them?
I also am trying to figure out weather this is a gate leg table or not. I need to get a better picture.
I also need to do reaseach into a kitchen and what would have been used at this time.
